Available in ShA (hardness) 01 through 70, Silbione® Biomedical LSRs offer outstanding physicals and lot-to-lot consistency, optimizing product design in an easy-to-process formulation, improving cycle time and part quality. These high performance materials are produced and packaged in ISO 8 and ISO 7 clean rooms respectively, in York, S.C. Device Master Files (MAFs) for Silbione® Biomedical LSRs are on file with the U.S. FDA.

High tack Silbione® HC2 2022 enables easier treatment of severe wounds such as acute burns and chronic bedsores, adding higher cohesion and reduced offset and bleed compared to the previous generation. It is manufactured and packaged in ISO 8 clean room and ships with guarantee of microbiological contamination 100 cfu/g to secure following sterilization process.

High tack Silbione® RTG 4642 brings to 1rst aid bandages painless removal, fewer allergic reaction and good resistance to everyday movements at a reasonable price point, by enabling coaters to achieve improved adhesion levels to the skin at lower coat weights than other materials currently available on the market.

For Orthotic & Prosthetic applications, Bluestar Silicones now offers Silbione® RTV 4410 LD, a system with ShA 10 and tear strength 6 N/mm but with 25% lower density than usual. This product relies on the Silbioneâ compromise of easy handling through low viscosity yet strong final mechanical properties, adding a smooth and tackfree touch and unprecedented lightness. This product rounds our more than 15 years experience in light weight gels for external breast prosthesis and cushioning applications.
