Midland, MI -- The Dow Chemical Company ("Dow") is increasing prices globally
for DOW Latex Powders redispersible polymer powders by 15 to 20
percent, depending on grade and market, effective December 1, 2006 or
as contracts allow.
"This increase is necessary to partially offset the continued
rise in raw material and energy costs over the last two years," said Marty
Kollmeyer, global business director. "In addition, it will allow us to
continue to develop new products and technologies to support the growing
market for construction polymers."
