Hong Kong -- Effective September 1, 2006, or as contract terms allow, Dow Epoxy - a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company - will increase prices for its epichlorohydrin products by Japanese Yen 20 per kilogram in Japan, and by US$200 per metric ton in Korea and Southeast Asia. The price increase is driven by high feedstock cost and tight supply of epichlorohydrin globally.
