Dow Chemical Announces Price Increase for ENGAGE™ Polyolefin Elastomers

Effective August 1, 2007, The Dow Chemical Company and Dow Chemical Canada Inc. will raise prices of all grades of ENGAGE™ Polyolefin Elastomers in North America.

ENGAGE Polyolefin Elastomers will increase by US $0.08 per pound.

Dow continues to invest in specialty polymers to assure long term sustainability of supply. Costs of production, handling, and delivery of these unique polymers continue to rise as we stretch the boundaries of innovation in polymer design. Polymer partitioning agents, storage, special drying, and unique packaging and handling systems are all part of the process of delivering high quality elastomers.

ENGAGE Polyolefin Elastomers are included in markets, such as adhesives, automotives, durable & consumer goods, and building & construction.
