Dow to Present Latest PU Innovations at 2011 CPI Technical Conference

Midland, Michigan -- Dow Polyurethanes, a business group within The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE:Dow), will highlight its latest sustainability, construction and material enhancing solutions during the upcoming Polyurethanes 2011 Technical Conference Sept. 26-28 in Nashville, Tenn.

With over 65 years in polyurethane chemistry, Dow Polyurethanes continues to develop customer-focused solutions that help address ever-changing industry requirements. The recently launched PASCAL™ Technology, an advanced combination of innovative polyurethane foam insulation and vacuum manufacturing equipment from Cannon SpA, increases energy efficiency and processing productivity in household refrigerators by up to 10 percent.

PASCAL Technology is one of three finalists for the CPI Innovation Award, to be announced in the closing session on Wednesday, September 28.

Feige is this year's CPI Technical Conference Committee chair. Members from the Dow Polyurethanes team will take part in several technical presentations at the conference.
