Philadelphia, PA -- Rohm and Haas Company has announced their participation in the November 2004 Pack Expo International to be held at Chicago's McCormick Place. As part of their "Total Packaging Solutions" program, the company will feature the full range of Rohm and Haas' environmentally friendly, high-efficiency adhesive products. Among these products are three of the company's newer technology offerings: Mor-Free™ ELM Series Extreme Low Monomer Solventless Adhesives, Robond™ L Series Water-based Adhesives for Dry Bond Laminating, and Coseal™ Cold Seal Adhesives. Rohm and Haas will be located at Booth E-8914, in level 2 of the Lower Lake building.

Of special interest to packaging converters is the company's Mor-Free™ ELM Series Extreme Low Monomer Solventless Adhesives. Uniquely formulated to reduce the potential risks associated with primary aromatic amine formation, Mor-Free ELM Series adhesives provide outstanding bonds on all substrate types, including metallized films and aluminum foils.

Also, in the area of flexible laminates for food packaging, the company is featuring their Robond™ L Series Water-based Adhesives. These environmentally friendly, VOC-compliant systems are ideally suited for use on a broad range of substrates, including paper, films, and metallized films. Designed to meet the varied needs of converters, Robond L Series offers compatibility with solvent-based, water-based, and ultraviolet ink systems and ensures remarkably clear, crisp images when laminating printed films.

The most up-to-date technology available for cold seal applications will be featured in the company's full line of Coseal™ Cold Seal Adhesives. These high-performance adhesives, used primarily for food packaging (ice cream, chocolate, candy, and other perishable, temperature-sensitive foods), provide fast drying, low odor, fast sealing, and very secure bonds. Rohm and Haas cold seal adhesives are also ideal for protective packaging, labels, and packaging for medical products such as bandages, as well as industrial and consumer goods such as detergents.

Rohm and Haas business and technical managers will be on hand throughout the exhibition to discuss special needs and answer questions related to applications.
