H.B. Fuller Company Appoints Michele Volpi Group President, General Manager of Adhesives

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- H.B. Fuller Company (NYSE:FUL) announced that Michele Volpi has been appointed group president and general manager of the company's Adhesives business. In this capacity, he will oversee the company's core adhesives businesses and global operations. He succeeds James Conaty, who is retiring from the company.

Volpi joined H.B. Fuller in June 2002 as global strategic business unit manager for the company's Assembly business, which provides adhesives for customers for use in the manufacture of appliances, doors and millwork, furniture, medical devices and other products. Volpi came to H.B. Fuller from General Electric Company, where he served as general manager of marketing of the Polymershapes business unit, located in Huntersville, North Carolina. He also served as European marketing director for GE's structured products business unit, and industry manager for the European appliances market. Prior to GE, he worked as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in Milan.

Volpi holds degrees in business administration from the Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Italy.
