H.B. Fuller opens a new business office in Johannesburg, South Africa and three warehouses across the country to support the company’s growth plans in the region. The new entity’s globally connected team will offer local adhesive expertise to customers.
Enhancing Firm’s Capacity to Meet Customers' Demands
South Africa business manager Ronald Prinsloo will be leading the business office. Prinsloo and his team will draw on H.B. Fuller's global network capabilities and technical centers in Europe, India, Middle East and Africa (EIMEA). Also, the team will serve the customers by supporting sales in the local currency, offering ex-stock deliveries and providing technical services to the customers.
The expansion enhances the firm’s capacity to respond to the rising demand from customers in South Africa. The new commercial organization aims to grow H.B. Fuller's share in the local market for adhesives and to increase the company's share to 100 million euros per year.
Strategic Investments to Expand Business Footprint
The new expansion aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its business footprint through strategic investments. The company will help customers find a competitive advantage through adhesive applications.
The company’s developing adhesive business in Africa has been showing strong growth in the past couple of years.
