Holland Colors Americas Expanding Production in its Richmond Plant

Holland Colors Americas Inc. will be expanding its main site at 1501 Progress Drive in Richmond, Indiana with a new 42,500 square foot production building.

The new building will allow Holland Colors Americas to expand capacity for existing products as well as to set up production lines for new products.

With this addition Holland Colors Americas will expand its Holcobatch production capacity. Holcobatch is a non-polymer based micro-bead colour concentrate for colouring thermoplastics.

Also the production lines for Holcoprill, another solid colour concentrate will be expanded. Key characteristics of Holcoprill are its larger particle size and increased pigment concentration. These attributes were built in to Holcoprill to satisfy the colouring demands of saturated, dark and opaque colours.

Last but not least, the new building will allow Holland Colors Americas to increase its pigment paste production capacity of Holcosil IP and Holcosil LSR to be able to satisfy the growing colouring demands of the silicone sealant and rubber market in North America.

Construction of the new building will begin in May and will be finished by the end of the year.
