Huntsman Announces Performance Products Price Increase In North America

The Woodlands, TX - Huntsman Corporation announced effective August 1, 2008, or as applicable contracts allow, its Performance Products division will raise the list and off-list pricing in North America of the following ethylene glycol products:

Triethylene Glycol up $0.09/lb $1.12/lb

Huntsman said these increases reflect the continued strong demands for ethylene oxide and its related derivatives such as ethylene glycols, and are required to offset higher costs of feedstocks and energy.
