Detmold. -- Jowat AG, a manufacturer of adhesives for industry and trade with activities around the globe, is offering a wide range of adhesives and coating materials for the print processing market and also provides a comprehensive range of consulting services. At the DRUPA 2012, Jowat AG is presenting five performance highlights from its large product portfolio: High gloss lamination, manufacture of folding boxes, layer bonding in bags, sacks, and pouches, plus bookbinding and foil lamination of sheet metal panels.

The development of new adhesives to support the environmental compatibility, and ease of handling in production, at the end-user, and in disposal are in the focus of the R&D departments of Jowat AG.

For instance in the premium sector of print processing and finishing, new adhesives and crosslinkers for high gloss lamination are introduced that are in full compliance with the latest food contact regulations.

For side seam bonding of folding boxes, the Jowat R&D specialists are focusing their activities on products that have excellent processing characteristics and allow more efficient manufacturing. At the same time, they emphasize sustainability and biological decomposition. The product range covers water-based dispersions and solvent-free products, for instance for bonding see-through packaging materials.

For bonding sacks, carrier bags, pouches and paper bags, Jowat is introducing a new dispersion adhesive for nozzle application that exhibits an excellent performance with minimal splashing in multi-layer bonding - with a highly attractive price-performance ratio.

And last but not least, the DRUPA 2012 - where Jowat is represented in hall 14, booth C63 - is the platform to introduce the improved PUR hot melt adhesive for foil lamination on sheet metal, for instance for the manufacture of cans and bottle caps.
