Düsseldorf/Gardsvägen, Sweden -- Henkel Loctite (Ireland) Ltd., a Dublin based subsidiary of the Henkel KGaA, Düsseldorf, and Stille AB, Gardsvägen, Sweden, have signed a Scandinavian Distribution and Supply agreement. The three-year agreement provides Scandinavian distribution rights for the product Indermil Tissue Adhesive.

Stille, quoted on the NGM list, develops and markets technical medical equipment for medical professionals. "We are proud to have Stille represent us in the Scandinavian market. With its knowledge, quality approach, and distributor network, Stille is the right partner for us," says John Tennant, Director Business Development, Biomedical Group, Henkel.

"Indermil is an innovative product that provides good aesthetic performance. The product complements our other products well and is easy to add to our portfolio," says Claes Stenlander, CEO of Stille.

Indermil Tissue Adhesive is a liquid skin adhesive used for the closure of small skin wounds and incisions. The adhesive cures when it comes into contact with the skin and forms a thin film that holds the edges of the wound together. The adhesive holds the wound closed until healing takes place and then sheds naturally after 7 - 10 days. The package facilitates precise application of Indermil Tissue Adhesive which is an easy-to-apply liquid that only requires one layer. The product was introduced in England in 1996 and is approved as a Medical Device in Europe, carrying the appropriate CE mark, and is also cleared for sale by the FDA in the United States. Indermil is manufactured by Henkel in a dedicated facility in Dublin, Ireland.
