BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- National Adhesives has introduced DURO-TAK® 34-659B, a hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive designed with the optical clarity and superior pasteurization resistance required by the prime clear label market.

Suitable for both narrow and wide web applications, DURO-TAK 34-659B adhesive exhibits excellent clarity on polyolefin films and is ideal for use in clear film label, overlay, decal and polyethylene bag closure applications. The adhesive, which meets the compositional requirements of the FDA's Indirect Food Additive regulations, also has excellent resistance to pasteurization, water, cold temperatures and flagging (wing-up) in curved surface applications.

"DURO-TAK 34-659B adhesive has demonstrated excellent convertibility on press and has superior wet-out, tack and water clarity. This is an excellent option for those looking for alternative options to water-based adhesives," said Ingrid Brase, Global Marketing Manager, Pressure Sensitive Adhesives, National Adhesives.
