Bethesda, MD -- In conjunction with the ASC 2007 Fall Convention and Expo in Kansas City, MO, the Adhesive and Sealant Council will hold a short course on Polyurethanes from October 7 - 8, 2007. Back by popular demand, this course, which was last held in Pittsburgh, PA in 2004, is expected to be well received among the adhesive and sealant community. Interested participants are encouraged to register early, as the last few ASC short courses either sold-out or came close to it.

Renowned Virginia Tech Polymer Science Professor David Dillard will make a presentation as part of the short course, which covers everything from raw materials to applications. "We are thrilled to offer such innovative and informative programming," said ASC President Larry Sloan. "ASC has always strived to provide our members with the latest trends and educational topics. This short course will certainly live up to that standard with its valuable information and notable speakers, such as Professor Dillard."

As part of the ASC 2007 Fall Convention and Expo, the Polyurethanes Short Course also provides attendees valuable opportunities to network and exchange ideas with the brightest and best of the industry. Registration is available online at www.ascouncil.org. "We are coming off the success of a sold-out short course and record-breaking spring convention in Savannah." Sloan noted. "I highly encourage everyone interested in this course to register as soon as possible as we are anticipating another successful convention and short course."
