Resintex Technology S.r.l. is exhibiting at Seatec 2013, which runs simultaneously with Comptec 2013 in Carrara, Italy from 6th - 8th February. On their stand (Hall D, stand 891) they will be promoting their closed mould technology expertise, particularly for marine and industrial market sectors, alongside the comprehensive range of specialty raw materials, reinforcements and ancillary composite products from their trade partners, which they supply across Italy.

A range of high performance Crystic® products from Scott Bader will be featured including: Crystic 15PA, a new technology vinyl ester spray tooling gelcoat; the 10:1 and 1:1 ranges of Crestabond® methacrylate primerless structural adhesives for metals, composites and plastics; the established RINA certified Crestomer® range of urethane acrylate structural adhesives for GRP; plus marine approved Crystic infusion resins and the range of high performance Crestapol® acrylic resins for closed moulding and pultrusion.

Resintex Technology will be promoting the latest infusion techniques and benefits of using closed mould related production technologies, including reusable membrane infusion moulding (RMIM). Over the three days of the Seatec 2103 exhibition, there will be regular live demonstrations on the Resintex stand by Alan Harper Composites of the reusable silicone membrane fiRST® Technology RMIM system, using a wind turbine blade design and mould developed in collaboration with the Italian composites industry association Assocompositi.
