Rising Demand in PU to Drive Global Adipic Acid Market, Reports Transparency Market Research

Adipic Acid, the most widely used dicarboxylic acid from the industrial perspective, finds applications as a raw material in the production of nylon 6,6, paints & coatings, low-temperature lubricants, plastic additives, polyurethane resins, food additives and production of other synthetic fibers.

The global demand for adipic acid was estimated to be over 3,000 kilo tons in 2011, and is expected to grow at a CAGR of over 4% from 2013 to 2018.
