Rohm and Haas Adhesives and Sealants Announces Price Increase For Its PSA's And Construction Products In Europe

Paris -- Rohm and Haas Adhesives and Sealants Business has announced a price increase for all adhesives emulsions, including acrylic and styrene-acrylic, sold to the pressure sensitive, construction adhesives, caulks and sealants industry in the European Region.

The increase, which ranges from 6 to 8 percent will take effect July 1, 2004 . The increase is in addition to the increases implemented early in the year.

The increase is needed to cover the rising costs of energy and the continued rising costs of key raw materials coinciding with improved economy and tightening global supply and demand.
