Philadelphia, PA -- Rohm and Haas Adhesives and Sealants business will implement an 8-10% price increase for polyester, polyurethane and acrylic polymer products sold to the packaging and converting industries in Asia. The increase will apply to all prices and will take effect from October 5, 2006, or as contracts allow. This is in addition to the price increase announced in July 2006.

These actions are necessitated by the continued escalation in costs due to significant supply / demand imbalances for key raw materials.
