Rohm and Haas Company Announces Price Increases for Acrylate and Methacrylate Monomers in the Americas

Philadelphia, PA -- ROHM AND HAAS COMPANY (NYSE: ROH) announced a price increase for acrylate and methacrylate monomers. The price increases reflect the continued escalation of energy, key raw material, logistics and packaging costs. Effective April 1, 2005, acrylate and methacrylate monomers for purchase in the Americas will be increased to the levels in the table below.
