Published on 2006-05-03. Author : SpecialChem

EXTON -- Global specialty chemicals manufacturer Sartomer Company will increase the prices of its hydrocarbon resins as of May 15, 2006 (or as contracts allow).

The company's Wingtack® hydrocarbon resins prices will increase by 6 cents per pound.

Sartomer's Norsolene® resins prices will increase by 9 cents per pound.

This increase is due to the rising costs of raw materials and energy. Sartomer's Wingtack and Norsolene hydrocarbon resins are used as raw materials for coatings, adhesives, inks, elastomers, and other applications.
