To facilitate wire harness recycling, Scapa Automotive
has introduced Autolon 824, a high-performance, halogen-free harnessing
tape that looks and feels like PVC but emits no toxins during combustion.
A cost-effective solution for wire harness wrapping,
clip retention, and color code identification, Autolon 824 is a polyolefin
film single-coated with a synthetic rubber pressure sensitive adhesive.
The halogen-free tape matches the performance of PVC tapes, offering good
elongation, easy unwind and tear, and excellent conformability for simple
application
This product also offers a fogging number between 70
and 95, withstands temperatures up to 85 degrees C, and provides good
resistance to cold, fluids and abrasion.
