Solomon Launches Butadiene Study to Assist the Manufacturers to Evaluate Their Operating Performance

Published on 2011-10-12. Author : SpecialChem

DALLAS -- Solomon Associates, the leading performance improvement company for the global energy industry, has begun solicitation for its Worldwide Butadiene Plant Performance Analysis (Butadiene Study) for operating year 2011.

The study is designed to help butadiene manufacturers assess their operating performance relative to other producers. By evaluating their performance quartile positioning and ranking results, producers can identify and target specific performance areas for improvement.

Butadiene is a major product of the petrochemical industry used to produce a wide range of polymers and co-polymers. These materials, in turn, are used extensively as synthetic rubber to produce such products as automotive tires, belts and hoses, foam rubber, footwear, coatings, sealants, and adhesives. Butadiene is also used in the production of nylon resins and fibers.

Solomon Associates' Comparative Performance Analysis™ (CPA™) series of benchmarking products is an integral part of its overall offering of consulting services, all designed to assist manufacturers in maximizing the performance of their assets.
