Troy Corporation Announces Polyphase Price Increase

Published on 2006-02-13. Author : SpecialChem

Florham Park,NJ -- Troy Corporation announced that higher costs for key raw materials, packaging, transportation, regulatory compliance and energy related products and services make it necessary to increase prices for certain Polyphase® products effective February 20, 2006 and as contracts allow. Prices will be increased 7 -12% for the following products:

  • Polyphase 588
  • Polyphase 600
  • Polyphase 641
  • Polyphase EC17
  • Polyphase WD17
  • Polyphase FX20
  • Polyphase FX30
  • Polyphase FX40

This increase covers only a portion of the overall higher costs associated with the manufacture and supply of these Polyphase products. For the past year, raw material, energy, transportation, packaging and other costs have risen dramatically. More specifically, published industry cost averages over the past 12 months have risen 115 percent for natural gas, and similar increases have been seen in petroleum-based raw materials. These increases substantially exceed the cost savings that could be made in supply, operations and distribution.
