Bluestar Silicones is showcasing its entire SILCOLEASE® range for the pressure sensitive industry at Labelexpo Europe this year including some new members of the widest and deepest range of release coatings available today.

The label industry moves forward with ever-increasing converting and application speeds where latest Flat Release Profile polymer Silcolease POLY 371 continues to deliver your potential. Our new polymer combines excellent controlled release at low speeds, minimizing the need for high doses of RCA, whilst delivering very easy high speed delamination of labels to deliver the productivity that your customers expect. Combined with suitable crosslinkers from our OPTIMA series fast cure, high running speed or economies of Pt catalyst can be targeted. Silcolease XL 315 has been designed to complement this new polymer perfectly and gives robust long lasting anchorage, maintains optimal Pt levels and offers fast cure.

For new substrates in the label industry and all other release liner applications discover the full range of SILCOLEASE products including our new easy to use UV Acrylate 1K systems Silcolease UV POLY 118 & Silcolease UV POLY 120. Designed in an “easy-to-use” one component system the polymer is adapted for all sorts of label, tape and hygiene uses including linerless applications. To further compliment this growing range we can also propose and discuss NEW ADDITIVES designed to REDUCE MISTING with UV Acrylate systems as well as other new performance additives.

Silcolease ADD 398 is a premium release additive that is designed to reduce release force and provide a premium release for a range of solvent polymers. It is used at 1-2% addition levels.

Silcolease XL 311, a crosslinking agent, was developed for use on polyethylene coated kraft (PEK) paper. It provides excellent low-temperature cure and strong anchorage to the substrate material.
