Bluestar Silicones Unveils Platinum Catalyzed Silicone Adhesive Gel for Wound Care at MEDTEC China

Bluestar Silicones is presenting new silicone technologies in wound care during the MEDTEC China on-site conference of Technology Track B - New Material Application on September 22th.

Bluestar Silicones is also introducing Silbione® HC2 2022; new platinum catalyzed silicone adhesive gel for application in scar care & wound management. This new product provides very soft & gentle adhesion for easy removal reducing the pain of patients. It is biocompatible and suitable for use on breached skin and open wounds. It at the same time offers improved tack performance to enhance adhesion of the dressings and reduce the numbers of the changes, which can save the expense of the patients. In addition, Silbione® HC2 2022 can reach very high tack at low coat weights for production cost saving and besides it improves flexibility and conformability of the final dressings.

Silbione® HC2 series products as well as its customized products are offering a variety of tack properties, viscosities and cure kinetics to meet different needs of the customers. All these products are produced with guaranteed microbial safety in an ISO 8 clean room part of a certified ISO 13485 facility to ensure healthcare grade levels of purity and quality.
