To continue providing the coatings and adhesives market with innovative formulation options, Sartomer Americas (a business unit of Arkema Inc.) has announced the release of the new CN9302 dual-cure urethane acrylate oligomer.

Improves Performance of Laminating Adhesives

Functionality delivered

  • Acrylate
  • Isocyanate

The reactive isocyanate gives UV/EB formulations a secondary cure of shadowed areas with ambient moisture, which results in enhanced coating performance.

CN9302 Oligomer Used in following Applications

  • UV/EB-curable
  • Two-part urethane
  • Dual-cure formulations.

Properties

  • Low Color
  • Low Viscosity
  • Exceptional Adhesion and Resistance to Abrasions and Chemicals

It can be used to improve the cure and performance of laminating adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives and screen printing inks.

Additional benefits of formulating with the CN9302 oligomer include coating toughness and pigment wetting for better distribution in liquids. These combined features and performance properties make the oligomer excellent for conformal coatings and other high-performance coatings on metal, plastic, and wood surfaces.
