Bond It has launched Super-Mate, a new high quality siliconized acrylic sealant as an economic alternative to silicone and water-based sealants. The newly introduced sealant is suitable for various interior and exterior applications.
Flexible and Long-lasting Seal with Mold Resistance
Super-Mate is ideal for sealing in bathrooms and around bathtubs as it has antifungal properties and has more flexibility than other acrylics. The sealant contains a powerful fungicide to prevent mold growth. Super-Mate seals around timber, metal and PVC window, and door frames and fills gaps and cracks in decorating applications, such as brickwork, stone, plaster and concrete.
The sealant bonds to polystyrene coving and tiles, cork tiles and wood block flooring as it does not contain solvents and isocyanates.
Super-Mate promises to have exceptional adhesion characteristics and provides long-lasting seal which adheres to virtually any materials. The sealant remains permanently flexible and can be painted over and easily cleaned up with water.
