Alcogum® HPT by Nouryon is a methanol-free sodium polyacrylate copolymer. It acts as synthetic gum thickener and viscosifier. It provides stable viscosity over a broad pH range. It offers resistance to biological degradation. It exhibits improved efficiency, reduced viscosity and enhanced stability over all compound loading ranges. It can be used in natural and synthetic latexes for a wide variety of applications. Alcogum® HPT is recommended for carpet backing and specialty adhesives.
