Elotex® Eloset 542

Elotex® Eloset 542 by Celanese acts as a rheology modifier. It is free of plasticizers and solvents. It contains no preservatives.

It is recommended for the modification of hydraulic and non-hydraulic setting mortars, plaster and adhesives.
It improved workability, sagging properties, spontaneous thickening development, reduced stickiness, high yield and rigidity and good smoothability.
It is compatible with all standard mortar additives such as redispersible polymer powders, accelerators, retarders and cellulose ethers.
It is applicable for tile adhesives and joint cement/grouting.
It has recommended dosage for tile adhesives is 10 – 20% of the cellulose ether dosage, 0.05 - 0.2 weight %, for plasters is 5 – 20% of the cellulose ether dosage, 0.005 - 0.05 weight %.
Elotex® Eloset 542 has a shelf life of 12 months.
