AFC ACCELERATOR™ ATC-3

It acts as a catalyst for anhydride-epoxy and carboxylic acid-epoxy resin systems. At elevated temperatures, it gives three to four times the rate of reaction of common promoters such as tertiary amines. This allows a significant reduction in the time and temperature required for gelation as well as cure. Its room temperature cure may often be adequate in potting, encapsulation and sealing applications where ultimate initial physical properties are not paramount.
