Proxel™ LS Preservative

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Arxada
Proxel™ LS Preservative by Arxada is a formaldehyde-, MIT- and VOC-free 1, 2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT). It is a dual-active biocide/preservative. It benefits from the use of two complementary active ingredients providing an enhanced antimicrobial efficacy and robust, long-term protection from bacteria, yeasts and molds. This novel formulation offers powerful broad-spectrum protection at target dose levels that will not trigger the EU H208 allergen phrase. It offers a non-specific mode of action so that bacterial resistance is unlikely. It does not release formaldehyde. It is cost-effective, non-volatile, pH & temperature stable, have low mammalian toxicity and biodegrade in effluent systems. Proxel™ LS Preservative is suitable for wet-state in-can preservation of water-based industrial adhesives and sealants. Liquid formulations allow for easy addition and dosing.
