Surfadone™ LP-300 by Ashland is a N-Dodecyl-2-pyrrolidone grade. Acts as a surfactant and wetting agent. It is a low foaming, non-ionic, biodegradable, high boiling solvent for polymers and hydrophobic substances. Shows synergistic surface tension reduction with anionic surfactants.

Surfadone™ LP-300 is used in sprayable pressure sensitive adhesives (foster dispersion, coagulation and wettability in acrylic ester/ chloroprene).
