Rheovis® VP 1231 by BASF is thickener for polymer dispersions and other aqueous systems. It can also be used as a protective colloid if resin solutions are mixed with polymer dispersions. Rheovis® VP 1231 has a maximum thickening effect in polymer dispersions at a pH of about 5.
