Efka® SL 3034

Efka® SL 3034 by BASF is a fluorocarbon containing organically modified polysiloxane. Used in water-based, hotmelt, solvent-based, reactive and radiation curing adhesives and in sealants as a wetting agent. Efka® SL 3034 prevents cratering caused by insufficient cleaning of the substrate, particles of dirt or incompatible substances (defoamers or silicone oils), improved surface smoothness and improved slip. Recommended usage level is 0.05–0.2% on total formulation. It has a shelf life of 4 years.
