Efka® SL 3236

Efka® SL 3236 by BASF is solvent-free modified polysiloxane. Used in hotmelt, solvent based, reactive and radiation curing adhesives and in sealants. Acts as a wetting agent. Offers benefits such as improved levelling and surface smoothness, increased slip and mar-resistance, prevention of orange-peel effect or cratering, anti-floating effect and improved overspray acceptance. Efka® SL 3236 possesses defoamer and de-aeration properties. Recommended usage level is 0.04–0.4% on total formulation. It has a shelf life of 4 years.
