Foamaster® MO 2172 (Old name: Foamaster® AP) by BASF is 100% active, water-free defoamer. Used in waterborne adhesive. It is proprietary blend of oils and silica derivatives. Provides high defoaming efficiency in alkaline or acidic systems. Prevents internal microbial activity. Foamaster® MO 2172 produces films free of fish eyes and craters. Recommended dosage level is 1-2 % on the weight of latex solids.
