Irganox® 3114

Irganox® 3114 by BASF is a non-discoloring, odorless, highly effective, sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant. It protects substrates against thermo-oxidative degradation and contributes to light stability. It has good compatibility with most substrates, high resistance to extraction, and low volatility. It is compatible with polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, styrene homo- and copolymers, linear polyesters, PVC, polyamides, polyurethanes, ABS, SBS, EPR, EPDM and other synthetic rubbers. It can be used in combination with costabilizers (like thioethers, phosphites, phosphonites), light stabilizers and other functional stabilizers. It is listed in AICS, DSL, IECSC, EINECS, ENCS, ECL, TSA, PICCS, BUWAL and TSCA. Irganox® 3114 is approved in many countries for use in food contact applications.
