Irganox® 565 DD

Irganox® 565 DD is a multifunctional phenolic antioxidant. It contains 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-(4,6-bis(octylthio)-1,3,5-triazin-2-ylamino) phenol. It has high molecular weight and is non-staining. Irganox® 565 DD is compatible with polybutadiene (BR), polyisoprene (IR), emulsion styrene butadiene (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), carboxylated SBR latex (XSBR), and styrenic block copolymers such as SBS and SIS, ABS, impact polystyrene, polyamides, and polyolefins. Used in adhesives (hot melt, solvent-based). Its usage level ranges between 0.05% to 0.5%. It is approved in many countries for use in food contact applications. It is listed in AICS, DSL, China, EINECS, MITI, ECL, PICCS and TSCA.
