Irganox® B 900

Irganox® B 900 by BASF is a blend of 20% octadecyl-3-[3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl] propionate] and 80% tris(2,4-ditert-butylphenyl) phosphite. It is basically a blend of 80% Irgafox® 168 and 20% Irganox® 1076 with high phosphite content.

• It acts as a processing and long-term thermal stabilizer.
• It maintains original melt flow and low color formation.
• It is an organic phosphite of low volatility and hydrolysis resistance protects the polymer during processing by decomposing the hydroperoxides.
• It is compatible with PBT, ABS, PS, UPES, TPE, polyethylene, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers, polycarbonates, polyesters, styrene homopolymers & copolymers, polyurethanes and elastomers.
• Recommended dosage rate in polyethylene and ethylene co-polymers is 0.1-0.25%.
• It is approved for food contact applications.
