Translink® 555

Translink® 555 by BASF is calcined and surface-treated aluminosilicate. Possesses ultrafine particle size, high brightness. Offers improved processing, dispersion, impact and flexural strength. Possesses electrical insulative properties, durability, enhanced mechanical strength and high hydrophobicity. Provides high moisture and tear strength in gaskets. It improves barrier properties, increases water resistance and physical strength without adhesion loss in sealants. Used as a high-performance reinforcing extender in a wide range of polymer systems for gaskets and sealants. Translink® 555 is suitable for use in nylon, polyester epoxy, phenolic and other polar polymeric applications.
