Reducing Agent TP 1853

Reducing Agent TP 1853 is a formaldehyde-free, new advanced additive by Brüggemann. It can be used in redox systems in combination with all commonly used oxidizing agents. Offers high process robustness, good alkaline and acid decomposition resistance. Provides improved properties for end product polymers and latices. Exhibits decrease of VOC’s and residual monomer content. Shows excellent performance for the emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate-based systems. It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored dry at 25°C. Recommended dosage level of Reducing Agent TP 1853 is 3-5% in solution and 0.05-0.2% on total formulation for post polymerization. Complies with FDA §175.105 and FDA §175.125 for pressure sensitive adhesives.
