Reducing Agent TP 1651

Reducing Agent TP 1651 by Brüggemann is a new advanced, formaldehyde-free additive with high process robustness. Offers good alkaline and acid decomposition resistance. It can be used in redox systems in combination with all commonly used oxidizing agents. Exhibits decrease of VOC’s and residual monomer content. Provides improved properties for end product polymers and latices. Shows excellent performance for the emulsion polymerization of styrene acrylate-based systems. Complies with FDA §175.105 and FDA §175.125 for pressure sensitive adhesives. It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored dry at 25°C. Recommended dosage level of Reducing Agent TP 1651 is 3-5% in solution and 0.05-0.2% on total formulation for post polymerization.
