Reducing Agent TP 1853

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Brüggemann
Reducing Agent TP 1853 by Brüggemann is a formaldehyde-free reducing agent with high process robustness. It shows excellent performance for the emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate-based systems. It provides good alkaline resistance and improved properties for end product polymers and lattices. It can be used in redox systems in combination with all commonly used oxidizing agents. It can be applied in solution at a concentration of 3-5% and at reaction temperatures between 50-80°C. It replaces ascorbic acid/ derivatives in vinyl acetate based emulsion polymers. It offers faster reactions, decreased VOC & residual monomer content, no discoloration & yellowing of latex and better filtration of emulsion polymer. Reducing Agent TP 1853 is recommended for adhesives. It can be stored for 12 months at 25°C (dry). It complies with FDA 175.105 regulation.
