BYK® -3450

BYK®-3450 by BYK is polyether-modified siloxane-based surfactant. It imparts significant reduction in the surface tension of aqueous adhesive systems even at a low dosage. It offers improved substrate wetting on non-polar substrates such as polyethylene, polypropylene and siliconized separating films. It encourages the spreading of aqueous systems on the substrate. It can be used in thin-layered applications. It shows low foam stabilization. It is suitable for all aqueous adhesive systems especially for aqueous contact adhesive dispersions and sealants. The dosage level of BYK®-3450 is 0.05-1% based on the total formulation.
