BYK® -3451

BYK®-3451 by BYK acts as a surfactant. It is polyether-modified siloxane which offers significant reduction in the surface tension of aqueous adhesive systems even at low dosage. It provides improved substrate wetting on non-polar substrates, such as polyethylene, polypropylene and siliconized separating films. It encourages the spreading of aqueous systems on the substrate. It can be used in thin-layered applications. It shows low foam stabilization. The dosage level of BYK®-3451 is 0.05-1% based on the total formulation.
