BYK® -3764

BYK®-3764 by BYK is polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane-based surface additive. It offers moderate to high reduction in surface tension that provides excellent substrate wetting. It displays high effectiveness at low dosage and only stabilizes foam very slightly. It causes no negative impact on adhesion and avoids migration. BYK®-3764 is recommended for sealants and all common reaction adhesives that are based on polyurethane, epoxy or acrylate. The dosage level of the grade is 0.01-0.3% based on total formulation and in exceptional cases up to 0.5%. It is SVHC-label-free grade.
