Chartwell C-523.71HR by Chartwell International is an increased reactivity hybrid carboxy/ hydroxy functional metal organic adhesion promoter synthesized with a stabilized neutralized metal complex. It provides improved adhesion to rubber, wood, concrete, ceramics and many plastics including ABS as well as treated PP/ PE. Chartwell C-523.71HR is supplied as a solution in propylene glycol and has caustic as the neutralizing agent. It improves salt fog resistance and reduces creep at the scribe as well as blistering. It is recommended for enhancing adhesion of high solids solvent-borne (or 100% solids) polyester, alkyd, acrylic, epoxy, and urethane adhesives.
