Exolit® RP 6520

Exolit RP 6520 by Clariant is ammonium polyphosphate. Acts as a flame retardant. It is non-hygroscopic, and non-flammable. Largely insoluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvents. Imparts a good flame-retardant effect on adhesives and sealants when it is incorporated into the base formulation at the rate of 10-20%. Exolit RP 6520 has a shelf life of 12 months.
