Calcium carbonate. Acts as a filler / extender. It is a white fine particle size additive with low binder level. Its lower cost minimizes the problems associated with oversize grit and offers excellent economic performance. It is designed for use in various rubber applications. Typical applications include putties and caulking. Complies with TSCA, DSL, and CONEG. Also used as an indirect food additive in food packaging applications under 21 CFR (FDA) 174.5, 175.300, and 178.3297.
