VORASPEC™ 58

VORASPEC™ 58 by Dow is an easy-to-use, low viscosity, high-performance toughener. It enhances mechanical performance, durability and low temperature properties of epoxy systems. Epoxies themselves provide excellent strength, adhesion and chemical resistance. In addition, epoxy toughener improves performance against environmental or handling conditions that might damage traditional materials. It shows no by-product formation. VORASPEC™ 58 offers cure time tenability (ranging from minutes to hours), tougher protection, improved miscibility, processing, impact & abrasion resistance and flexibility across a wide temperature range. It formulates systems with a hardness range of 50A to 70D. It is suitable for industrial and infrastructure applications even in harsh environments. Applications include flexible and structural adhesives for bonding metal, concrete and other substrates.
